Job Description
Overview Vail Brewing Company is looking for someone to join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker and become a vital part of our logistics operations! This energetic role combines the thrill of delivering goods directly to customers with the hands-on experience of warehouse management. You'll be responsible for safely transporting products, maintaining excellent customer service, and supporting warehouse functions through manual handling and material movement. Duties Safely operate box trucks and Company vehicles to deliver products to customers' locations, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices. Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal delivery paths and maintaining accurate delivery schedules. Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, moving stock within the facility, and operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately by load & unload procedures, verifying shipment contents against delivery documents. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing any questions or concerns. Maintain safety standards at all times by practicing proper manual handling, weight handling in the workplace, and adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting. Use mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication with team members. Experience Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred, including familiarity with warehouse operations and manual handling techniques. Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on safe driving practices in various environments. Commercial driving experience with a valid driver's license suitable for operating box trucks or commercial trucks. Demonstrated ability to load & unload cargo efficiently while following safe lifting practices. Strong understanding of traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations related to commercial vehicle operation. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries and interactions on the road. Ability to handle physical tasks such as moving heavy items, manual lifting, and material handling safely throughout shifts. Benefits HSA health plan
