Full Job Description Company Overview:

A+ FENCE PIPE SALES INC.

is a fast-growing, small business, providing fencing supplies for agricultural, commercial, and residential applications in the Northern Colorado area. Whether it is for a homeowner or a fence building contractor, we have a plethora of fencing supplies to meet all of our customers needs. We are currently looking for a Yard Associate to join our team and help with the increase in business and customer volume.

Job Overview:

Pay $18-$24

DOE Location:

Platteville Colorado Currently open Monday Through Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. Possibly Saturdays in the future. Yard associate/employee description, but not limited to the following: Completion of counting and basic mathematics Accurately pull and prepare orders. Double check order accuracy. Maintain a positive environment with all customers and other associates. Greet customers and provide excellent customer service. Safely unload vendor supply trucks. As to not damage material/supplies. Read, understand and verify accuracy of material/ supplies with paperwork. Must be able to communicate, write fluently in the English language. Bilingual in English/Spanish is helpful. Operate a forklift and all other material handling equipment. Operating safely and respectfully to persons and equipment. Safely use power tools to cut steel. Accurately count and organize products and supplies in inventory management systems. (Clean, straight ,off ground, and FIFO etc.) Have basic measurement skills. Safely load products and supplies on customer vehicles. Maintain a clean and organized Yard. Including but not limited to, NO TRASH, misplaced items etc. Conduct basic maintenance on material handling equipment. Included but not limited to, lubrication and oil changes, filter replacement, trailer maintenance. (We can teach associate) Participate in company training as required. Perform assigned duties with a positive attitude. Utilize PPE, earplugs, eye protection, gloves, Steel toe boots ETC. Employee must reliably show up on time and have reliable transportation to and from work Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. And possible Saturdays.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The Employee is required to sit, stand, walk, reach up and down with hands. Occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, squat, push, balance. -Must be able to regularly lift 75-100 pounds. Work in outdoor weather conditions, subject to temperature variations, dust, increased noise.
