Gorins Furniture & Mattresses - Norwich, CT Gorins Furniture & Mattresses is looking for a dependable, hardworking Furniture Delivery & Warehouse Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with furniture, staying active and providing great service to our customers. Job Responsibilities Deliver furniture and mattresses to customers' homes Safely load, unload and transport furniture Set up and position furniture in customers' homes Inspect merchandise before delivery Receive, organize and move merchandise in the warehouse Prepare furniture for customer deliveries Keep the warehouse clean, organized and safe Assist with other warehouse and store duties as needed Qualifications Reliable and dependable Valid driver's license and good driving record Able to lift and carry heavy furniture Comfortable working in customers' homes Friendly, professional and customer-service oriented Able to work independently and as part of a team Previous furniture delivery, moving or warehouse experience is a plus We are willing to train the right person What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full-time position Stable employment with an established local business Opportunity to learn the furniture delivery and warehouse operation A team-oriented work environment If you are dependable, hardworking, take pride in doing a good job and want to be part of a local business where individuals are appreciated, we would like to hear from you.
