We're looking for two reliable, hardworking people to join our shipping and receiving dock for the Thanksgiving and holiday season. This is a busy, fast-moving role at a working pie bakery, and it's a good fit for someone who stays organized and steady when the orders stack up. This position is

, running from now through mid-to-late December, with the potential to become full-time for the right person.

Responsibilities:

Receive incoming deliveries and check them against paperwork Pull, stage, and load outgoing orders accurately and on time Build and wrap pallets so they're stable and ready to ship Organize and maintain cooler and freezer storage, keeping product rotated, labeled, and easy to find Keep the dock and storage areas clean and safe according to established procedures Work with the production and shipping teams to keep orders moving during peak season

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stay on your feet for a full shift Comfortable working for extended periods in cooler and freezer environments Performs well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Organized and detail-oriented, since accuracy matters on every order Reliable, punctual, and willing to take direction Reliable transportation to and from East Hartford each day Fully available weekdays, with flexibility on weekends

Preferred:

Warehouse, dock, or shipping/receiving experience Pallet jack experience
