Nancy (949)283-8772 Ivonne (909)402-6026 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Glue Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating glue application equipment to ensure precise adhesion in the production of mattresses. Your expertise will help maintain high-quality standards, optimize machine performance, and uphold safety protocols throughout the manufacturing process. Responsibilities Prepares work area by preparing glue station for operation and stocks supplies according to the daily production work load Follows appropriate production schedule and current manufacturing procedures to produce mattresses Assembles Foam Core or Foam Encased mattresses utilizing the correct components in accordance to our specifications and assembles with hot melt or water-based adhesive Completes any necessary paperwork or production related documentation in an accurate and timely manner Achieves or exceeds daily production and quality goals Complies with all department and company safety rules Reports machine problems outside of operator's capability to correct to the Production Supervisor or Plant Manager Maintains a clean work area and completes daily area clean-up tasks at the end of shift Notifies Production Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues. Experience Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions Must grip, push, pull, and reach over shoulder level with both hands While performing duties, operator will regularly be required to stand, walk, stoop, and bend in order to operate equipment Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) Prior assembly or manufacturing experience preferred Good hand/eye coordination Attention to detail Ability to plan and organize Has good time management skills Ability to function in fast-paced environment
