Job Description
Warehouse & Delivery Support Specialist Hilyard's Business Solutions | Wilmington, DE 19808 | $21-$25 per hour | Full-time Help Us Get Deliveries Moving—and Take Great Care of Our Customers Hilyard's Business Solutions is looking for a dependable Warehouse & Delivery Support Specialist who can jump in wherever help is needed. You will prepare orders, load and unload trucks, make local and occasional long-distance same-day deliveries, and deliver, assemble, set up, and install copiers, printers, fax machines, and related equipment at customer sites. This is a great fit for a positive team player who likes variety, helps coworkers succeed, takes pride in doing the job right, and understands that every accurate order and on-time delivery matters to the customer. What You'll Do Pick, pack, stage, load, and deliver orders and equipment. Make local deliveries and occasional longer-distance deliveries in a company vehicle. Unbox, place, assemble, and help set up equipment at customer sites. Complete trade lease-in, lease-return, equipment-swap, rental-return, pickup, and delivery paperwork. Follow assigned routes, meet appointment times, and communicate delays promptly. Help with shipping, receiving, inventory movement, cleanup, and urgent delivery needs. Complete delivery paperwork and communicate updates or problems quickly. Pitch in wherever needed to improve warehouse and delivery flow. Support coworkers and contribute to a positive, respectful, team-first workplace. What We're Looking For Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and DOT medical card or ability to obtain one. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work safely in a warehouse and delivery environment. A positive, team-first attitude, reliable attendance, respectful communication, and flexibility when priorities change. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, consistent with applicable law. Warehouse, delivery, shipping, equipment-setup, or customer-service experience is helpful. Stable work history, dependable attendance, reliable transportation to work, and verifiable professional references. Mechanical or material-handling experience—including forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks—is a plus. Emergency loaner-equipment or network/connectivity knowledge is a plus.
