Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Casting, General Laborer to support our manufacturing operations. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth flow of production processes, maintaining safety standards, and assisting with various manual tasks within the factory environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and organizational and time management skills. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in manufacturing and process improvement while contributing to a dynamic team committed to quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
A member of the casting department must be organized, possess excellent time management skills, methodical and precise. As a member of the casting department and product line assigned, they must be able to work well with others within their area, as well as part of a broader team. They will follow department procedures, and work toward mastering skills obtained through on-the-job training.

  • Casting foam, silicone, and plastic molds
  • Shaping and mounting forms
  • Able to lift up to 45 lbs.
  • Must take pride in work and ensure that workstation is always kept neat and free from spills and debris. Understand and follow safety requirements associated with the position. Cross train with other departments within operations
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.
Experience Prior experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments is essential. Experience with forklift operation and heavy lifting tasks is preferred. Demonstrated understanding of safety standards in production environments, including lean manufacturing principles, is required. Previous roles involving manual handling, assembly line work, or process improvement will be considered a strong asset for success in this position.
Pay:
$19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
