Position Overview:

A-1 Block is seeking a Yard Attendant Specialist to assist with material deliveries, customer service support, and general plant operations. This role is responsible for delivering missed or replacement materials to job sites and plants, supporting yard activities, assisting with loading/unloading block products, and helping maintain efficient daily operations. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver missed, replacement, or damaged materials to job sites and company locations Safely load and unload block materials and related products Operate forklifts and other yard equipment (training provided if needed) Assist with staging materials for customer pickups and deliveries Support daily plant and yard operations as directed by management Perform general yard organization and housekeeping tasks Conduct basic vehicle inspections prior to deliveries Communicate professionally with customers, drivers, dispatches, and plant staff Help maintain safe working conditions across plant and yard areas Support additional operational needs as business demands change Experience in construction materials, block, ready-mix, or building supply environment Previous yard support or delivery experience Forklift experience preferred but not required

Education:

High school or equivalent (Required)

Pay:

$21.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
