Description The Material Handler performs various essential duties to support the Coating Department's operations. These duties include using a scan gun to make system moves and replacing scrap bins as necessary. This is a 12-hour rotation night shift, 7 PM - 7 AM. What you will do as a Material Handler in the

Coating Department:

Place pallets onto gantries. Monitor the gantry area. Remove finished pallets using a pallet jack or lift truck. Work closely with Operators. Keep designated lines stocked with all material needs. Move products in the system using a scan gun. Weigh scraps in bins and replace bins as needed. Manually load or unload materials. Verify spec sheet is correct. Lift 25-pound slabs as needed. Maneuver pallets that can weigh up to 80 pounds. Replace the gas tank on the lift truck as needed. Follow all safety regulations. Maintain good housekeeping. Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor Qualifications Ability to read, write, and communicate in Basic English Must be 18 years old or older Must be able to pass the eye exam Must have at least 1 year of previous lift truck experience. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have the ability to mount & dismount the lift truck repeatedly. Must be able to perform basic computer functions Willing and able to work in a hot, cold, dusty, and noisy industrial environment Complete Huali's lift truck certification.
