Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately packing and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring all items are handled with care and in accordance with safety protocols. Duties Carefully pack products using appropriate packaging materials, ensuring items are protected during transit Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and order pickers to move goods efficiently within the warehouse Use barcode scanning technology and RF scanners to accurately track inventory and process shipments Assist in order picking and fulfillment by selecting items from shelves based on order specifications Load and unload shipments safely using heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements Maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse management systems and perform regular stock checks Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipment contents, inspecting for damages, and updating inventory data Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, or pallet jacks is highly desirable Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software is a plus Knowledge of safety procedures related to manual handling, heavy lifting, and equipment operation is essential Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements Experience in packing, materials handling, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, or quality control will be advantageous Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols diligently and use personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently Join our team as a Packer and become an integral part of our efficient warehouse operations!
