Job Summary We are urgently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic food manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring that all products are properly received, stored, and dispatched in compliance with safety and quality standards. Your expertise in warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics will help maintain seamless supply chain flow, supporting our commitment to delivering high-quality food products to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about warehouse management and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, food production environment. Duties Receive raw ingredients and packaging materials, verifying quantities against purchase orders using warehouse management systems and data entry tools. Inspect trailers for proper temperature, cleanliness, and pests before unloading them. Verify lot numbers and expiration dates to support first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory rotation. Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately according to order specifications. Operate electric pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload trucks efficiently. Maintain precise inventory records through inventory management software and ERP systems like Parity Factory platforms. Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts, and audits to uphold inventory accuracy and prevent discrepancies. Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate shipping schedules, optimize warehouse distribution processes, and improve order fulfillment times. Qualifications Ability to work comfortably in and out of sub-zero freezers and cold storage environments (proper cold-weather gear is provided). Ability to stand or walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, or
FDA/USDA
storage regulations. Strong knowledge of inventory management software, ERP systems (such as Parity Factory), and shipping logistics procedures. Ability to operate electric pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely. Basic math skills for calculating weights, measurements, and quantities accurately. Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records. Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners. Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
