Aerotek is Hiring for Entry-Level Laborers Job Description This entry-level laborer position offers a hands-on role in an industrial environment, focusing on assembling insulation modules and supporting general labor and material handling activities. You work a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, performing physically active tasks that help keep production running smoothly. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, comfortable using basic tools, and eager to build practical skills in a stable, team-oriented setting. Responsibilities Assemble insulation modules using provided materials, measurements, and tools, ensuring accuracy and quality in each build. Accurately use a tape measure for layout, cutting, and assembly work to meet specified dimensions and production standards. Load, unload, and move materials throughout the industrial and warehouse area to support ongoing production and construction-related tasks. Assist team members with general production and shop activities, including assembly, packing, and packaging duties as needed. Perform general labor tasks such as material handling, concrete-related work, and carpentry support using hand and power tools. Operate basic tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and potentially forklifts, in a safe and responsible manner. Handle heavy lifting and physical labor activities required for loading, picking, and moving materials in the warehouse and production areas. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following housekeeping practices and properly storing tools and materials. Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times to protect yourself, coworkers, and equipment in the industrial environment. Collaborate with a small team to meet production goals, support general production tasks, and contribute to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere. Essential Skills Experience using a tape measure with accuracy for layout, cutting, and assembly work (required). Ability to perform physical labor, including heavy lifting and sustained standing, bending, and movement in an industrial or warehouse setting. Comfort using general hand tools and power tools for tasks such as assembly, material handling, and basic construction-related work. Strong work ethic with reliable attendance and a willingness to complete assigned tasks thoroughly and on time. Valid driver's license (required) to support transportation and work-related needs. Ability to work effectively as part of a small, team-oriented group, taking direction and assisting others as needed. Mechanical inclination and interest in learning how to assemble insulation modules and operate basic production equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimal experience in general labor, construction, or general production environments is beneficial. Experience with material handling activities such as loading, unloading, picking, and moving materials in a warehouse or industrial setting. Familiarity with concrete work, carpentry support tasks, and other basic construction-related duties. Exposure to packing and packaging tasks within a production or warehouse environment. Experience using hand and power tools safely and efficiently for assembly and production work. Forklift experience or willingness to learn forklift operation in accordance with safety guidelines. The schedule is a steady first shift, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, providing predictable hours in a production-focused environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Castle, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
