Warehouse Associate Paradise Food Distribution - Honolulu, HI Full-Time Paradise Food Distribution is a local seafood distribution company serving restaurants, markets, and businesses throughout Oahu. We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team and help with the daily receiving, processing, packing, and preparation of seafood orders. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced, refrigerated warehouse environment. We're looking for someone who works efficiently, follows instructions, keeps their work area organized, and can be counted on to show up on time and complete their responsibilities. Responsibilities Pick and pack seafood orders accurately Assist with receiving and organizing incoming seafood shipments Rotate and organize inventory according to company procedures Prepare products and materials for daily orders and deliveries Operate packing and warehouse equipment after proper training Maintain clean and organized work areas Perform assigned cleaning and sanitation duties Assist with loading, unloading, and moving product throughout the warehouse Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures Communicate damaged product, shortages, quality concerns, or other problems to the appropriate supervisor Assist with other warehouse duties as needed What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Able to follow procedures and pay attention to detail Comfortable working around fresh seafood and in refrigerated conditions Able to work on your feet and perform physical warehouse work throughout the shift Able to safely lift and move cases of product Willing to learn and take responsibility for assigned work Works well independently and as part of a small team Warehouse, food production, seafood, restaurant, or similar experience is helpful but not required What We Offer Starting pay of $18-$21/hour, depending on experience and qualifications Full-time work On-the-job training Opportunity to learn multiple areas of our warehouse and seafood operation Stable work with an established local food distribution company Work Environment This position involves working in refrigerated areas and handling fresh seafood.
