OVERVIEW
This is a long term assignment at a transportation company in Burlington. This assignment involves loading and unloading rail cars and trucks. You will be working outdoors as well as in a covered unheated building.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Loading and unloading goods in a systematic procedure from rail cars and trucks Follow proper handling procedure of the goods Verifying the loaded material with the order that is providedSKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to efficiently coordinate work with co-workers Ability to operate a forklift Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to effectively manage time and meet targets and deadlines Ability to follow the safety and procedures of handling goods and supplies Ability to work in all climates Must have a valid driver's licenseEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
High School Diploma/Equivalent Forklift experienceWORK HOURS/SHIFT
1st Shift-Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30 pm WAGE $15.00/hrSCREENING/TESTING REQUIREMENTS
