ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY
The Warehouse Order Filler Associate will report to the Warehouse Team Lead. They will assist in picking, packing, assembly, and shipping coordination of all Paxton/Patterson (PP) products and lab kits. They will be expected to prevent delays in shipping and ensure accuracy in packing. This position will require the use of the PP ERP system to create shipping labels and track items/orders.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist the Warehouse Team Lead in packing and checking orders to be shipped directly to clients. Maintain high customer satisfaction through excellence in picking, packing, assembly, and shipping coordination, ensuring 100% accurate, damage-free, on-time delivery . Verify the accuracy and completeness of items to be packed against order documentation.Prepare orders for shipment:
print order information from the ERP system, weigh, measure, label, and wrap skids. Safely and securely package items for shipment, using appropriate packaging materials.Finalize shipment:
use a web-based platform to enter shipping details, create the bill of lading, and schedule shipment pickup. Maintain accuracy in inventory records by updating them with packed order details; update inventory levels accordingly. Apply shipping labels and documentation, including packing slips and shipping labels, ensuring products are properly labeled and tagged for tracking. Troubleshoot and resolve any receiving-related issues or discrepancies. Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Attend all required training and staff meetings. Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards customers, visitors, and co-workers. Adhere to all policies and procedures of Paxton/Patterson. Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
2 years' experience in warehouse or manufacturing setting Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Basic computer skills for data entry, record-keeping, and tracking Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the proper use of PPE Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move objects up to a specified weight limit as seen below Hazmat certification is a plus Forklift certification is a plus This position requires time spent on the following physical activities: Stand- over 2/3 Walk
