Job Title:
Warehouse Order Picker Text PICKER to 8 4 7 5 8 0 2 8 1 4 Job Description This role focuses on accurately picking orders for shipment and supplying materials to assemblers in a bright, temperature-controlled warehouse and manufacturing environment. You operate a variety of material handling equipment, work with RF scanners, and support shipping, receiving, inventory, and packaging activities to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently for shipping according to established procedures. Retrieve and deliver materials to assemblers to support ongoing production and assembly activities. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts (including stand-up forklifts) and pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner. Use RF scanners to locate, pick, and track inventory and orders throughout the warehouse. Perform material handling tasks including loading, unloading, moving, and staging products and components. Assist with shipping and receiving functions, including preparing orders for shipment and processing incoming materials. Support packaging activities to ensure products are properly packed, labeled, and ready for delivery. Maintain accurate inventory by following scanning and documentation procedures. Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse protocols while working in shipping/receiving, assembly, SMT, and quality check areas. Remain on your feet for most of the shift, walking throughout the facility and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed. Essential Skills Ability to safely operate forklifts, including stand-up forklifts, and pallet jacks. Experience with order picking, packing, and general warehouse labor. Ability to use or learn RF scanner technology for inventory and order processing. Experience in material handling, shipping and receiving, and packaging activities. Capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand or walk throughout the workday. Attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking, inventory tracking, and packaging. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in an RF scanner-based warehouse environment. Familiarity with inventory control processes and basic warehouse documentation. Comfort working across multiple areas such as shipping/receiving, assembly, SMT, and quality checks. Strong work ethic and reliability in a fast-paced production and warehouse setting. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
