Material Handler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. This role involves ensuring that all necessary supplies are transported accurately and promptly to designated lines or pre-batch areas. The position requires excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal customers regarding item quantities and placements, alongside maintaining compliance with good manufacturing practices and sanitation standards. Responsibilities Transport all necessary supplies accurately and on time to required lines or pre-batch areas. Communicate with internal customers to determine proper quantities and placement of items needed. Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices and maintain proper sanitation and housekeeping in the area. Properly put away any warehouse picks. Coordinate and communicate with other Material Handlers for efficient operation of the department. Inform appropriate departments or supervisors of any issues or concerns. Essential Skills Material handling experience. Proficiency with reach trucks. Experience using RF scanners. Additional Skills & Qualifications Sit-down forklift operation experience. Work Environment The role operates within a cleanroom environment, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety. The position involves 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, either from early morning to late afternoon. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.36 - $20.36/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
