Job Description Looking for a hands-on role where you can put your construction, manufacturing, or general labor skills to work? We are hiring Truss Assemblers / Production Laborers to join a growing team in a fast-paced wood manufacturing facility. In this role, you'll build high-quality roof and floor trusses using hand and power tools while working alongside an experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with construction, roofing, farming, warehouse, or general labor experience who enjoy physical work and want stable, long-term employment with overtime opportunities. Responsibilities Assemble wood trusses and other structural components using hand tools, nail guns, and power tools. Follow laser-projected layouts and production drawings to accurately position lumber and hardware. Place boards, plates, and fasteners according to specifications and quality standards. Operate truss presses and related equipment to secure completed assemblies. Build trusses efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy. Lift, move, and position lumber and materials throughout the production process. Perform repetitive assembly tasks in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Safely climb onto and off assembly tables while constructing trusses. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Assist with loading, unloading, material handling, and other production-related duties as needed. Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals and customer deadlines. Essential Skills Previous construction, roofing, framing, siding, manufacturing, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred. Experience using hand tools and power tools such as hammers, nail guns, drills, and saws. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to stand, bend, twist, and perform physical work throughout the shift. Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow visual instructions and patterns. Ability to work safely around industrial equipment and machinery. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Team-player mindset with the ability to work independently when needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications Roofing, framing, carpentry, siding, drywall, concrete, or other construction trade experience is highly valued. Agricultural, farming, landscaping, or outdoor labor experience is a great fit. Manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or production experience preferred. Experience reading tape measures and taking basic measurements. Familiarity with truss building, woodworking, or lumber products is a plus. Forklift, material handling, or shipping experience is beneficial. Ability to thrive in a physically demanding environment. Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the company. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
