Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Illinois facility. This position involves driving for up to three-quarters of the workday , delivering materials to customers and picking up products from vendors. The remaining time will be spent assisting with basic warehouse duties. This is a great position for someone who enjoys being out on the road, working independently, and having variety throughout the day. You'll have a sense of freedom while driving, stay active, and find that the workdays move quickly. Responsibilities Deliver materials to customers safely and on schedule Pick up materials from vendors as needed Provide friendly and professional service at each stop Review orders to ensure deliveries are complete and accurate Safely load and unload delivery vehicles Move and handle heavy crates and materials Secure products properly before transportation Complete required delivery paperwork and documentation Keep the delivery vehicle clean and report any maintenance concerns Assist with picking, packing, and staging customer orders Help receive and unload incoming shipments Organize products and maintain a clean warehouse Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely Assist with general warehouse duties when not driving Qualifications Valid Illinois driver's license with a clean driving record Previous delivery or warehouse experience preferred Comfortable driving for most of the workday Ability to safely lift, move, load, and unload heavy crates and materials Forklift certification is a plus Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Strong organizational and time-management skills Professional and courteous when interacting with customers Able to work independently and manage a delivery route Team-oriented and willing to help with warehouse duties Basic computer skills preferred What We're Looking For The right person for this position is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable spending most of the day on the road. You should enjoy working independently while also being willing to help the warehouse team when deliveries are complete. This is a hands-on position with plenty of variety. You'll spend most of your time making deliveries, with the remainder of your day assisting with basic warehouse operations.
