Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker / Heavy Labor specialist, where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations through heavy lifting, materials handling, and equipment operation. Responsibilities Operate various heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, cranes, and pallet jacks to load, unload, move, and organize materials within the warehouse. Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and stocking of inventory items with precision and safety adherence. Manage inventory control through accurate picking & packing, order picking, shipping & receiving processes using inventory management software and warehouse management systems like AS400. Ensure compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards by using personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established safety protocols during all operations. Assist in materials handling activities including packaging, order fulfillment, load & unload operations to support efficient warehouse distribution. Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, cycle counts, and stock levels to support warehouse management efforts. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse operations and ensure safety protocol adherence at all times. Experience Prior experience operating warehouse material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, or cranes is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, and inventory management software like AS400 or similar systems. Experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Familiarity with safety regulations such as OSHA standards for heavy equipment operation and manual handling practices. Basic math skills for inventory counting and measurements are required.
