The Production Warehouse Worker is responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by performing a variety of tasks, including assembling, finishing, and preparing trailers for shipment. This position requires physical dexterity, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations:

Load and unload materials and products from trucks and trailers using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, reporting any discrepancies to a supervisor. Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations to maintain an orderly and efficient workspace. Pick and stage parts and materials for the production line.

Quality Control and Maintenance:

Perform quality checks on products throughout the assembly process to ensure they meet company standards. Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to a supervisor. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure it remains in good working order.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and safe work environment, keeping workstations and storage areas organized and free of hazards. Participate in safety training programs and contribute to a culture of workplace safety.

Required Skills and Qualifications Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment is often preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with basic hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints and work orders. Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) is often a plus, with certification being a bonus.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier items with assistance. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods. Capability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors. Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic. Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing production needs.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
