Position Summary The Assembler/Packer is responsible for accurately assembling products and components, performing quality inspections, packaging finished goods, and preparing products for shipment in accordance with established company standards and procedures. This position plays an important role in meeting daily production goals while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssembly Operations Assemble components, parts, and finished products according to work instructions, specifications, and established quality standards. Follow production schedules and consistently meet established productivity and performance expectations. Verify components, materials, and quantities prior to beginning assembly. Perform basic troubleshooting and promptly report equipment, material, or process issues to the appropriate supervisor. Conduct visual inspections of components and finished products to ensure they meet quality requirements. Identify and report defective, damaged, or non-conforming materials or products. Maintain compliance with company manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and safety policies. Complete required production, inspection, and quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Cross-train and assist in other production, assembly, or packaging functions as needed. Properly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE). Packaging & Shipping Operations Package finished products according to customer specifications and company requirements. Properly label, seal, and prepare finished products for shipment. Ensure packaging materials are used correctly, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures. Inspect completed packaging to verify product identification, labeling, quantity, and overall condition prior to shipment. Identify and report damaged products, packaging materials, or other quality concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift. Follow all applicable safety procedures and work practices. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Ability to bend, reach, twist, kneel, and perform repetitive motions as required. Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to product quality and accuracy. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent productivity and quality. Basic math, counting, and measurement skills. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Dependable attendance and the ability to work effectively as part of a production team. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, packaging, warehouse, or production environments preferred but not required . Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment is a plus. Willingness to learn new processes, equipment, and production procedures.
