Job Title:

Warehouse Associate 2nd 3pm-11:30 mon - fri $19.50 Job Description This role focuses on moving products throughout a large warehouse, supporting shipping and receiving activities, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. You will manually load and unload trucks, follow pick lists to pull and stage orders, and help keep inventory organized and clearly labeled. This position plays a key part in maintaining an efficient distribution operation within a growing facility. Responsibilities Move products throughout the warehouse to support daily shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activities. Manually load and unload trucks by hand, ensuring safe handling of all materials. Follow pick lists and pick sheets to locate stock, verify correct quantities, and pull orders accurately from racks. Stage pallets and shipments on the docks and prepare them for outbound loading. Stack boxes on skids and manually wrap skids with shrink wrap to secure loads for shipment. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including preparing loads and confirming items for dispatch. Support receiving operations by unloading trucks, checking inventory, recording received items, and participating in accuracy checks. Put away inventory in the correct locations, rotate stock so older product remains at the front and newer product moves to the back, and apply appropriate labels. Help organize and maintain the warehouse, including keeping aisles, racks, and staging areas orderly and safe. Work collaboratively with a small warehouse and production team to meet daily production and distribution goals. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while performing material handling and warehouse tasks. Use RF scanners and related tools, when applicable, to assist with picking, inventory, and order processing. Essential Skills Experience working in a warehouse environment with shipping and receiving responsibilities. Ability to move, load, and unload products manually, including stacking boxes and wrapping pallets. Experience following pick lists or pick sheets to accurately pull and stage orders. Comfort with material handling tasks such as order picking, order pulling, packing, loading, unloading, and staging pallets. Ability to use or learn RF scanners for picking orders and managing inventory. Strong attention to detail when checking inventory, recording received items, and verifying quantities. Capability to organize products in correct locations and rotate stock effectively. Reliability and a positive attitude suited to working in a small, collaborative team. Willingness to work a second-shift schedule from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with additional hours as needed. Commitment to following safety requirements, including wearing steel-toed shoes or boots. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ringwood, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
