Job Summary The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and general warehouse organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer orders while maintaining inventory accuracy and a safe, organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a hands-on team player who can adapt to changing priorities and contribute to overall operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Duties/Responsibilities Warehouse Operations- Assist with daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory handling.
- Pick, pack, label, wrap, and prepare customer orders for shipment using established procedures and shipping systems.
- Process inbound shipments by unloading, inspecting, labeling, and storing products accurately.
- Prepare and coordinate shipments through carriers including FedEx, UPS, and LTL freight providers.
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped in a timely manner to support customer expectations.
- Maintain organized inventory storage areas and support warehouse cleanliness and organization.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and inventory control activities.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices and proper material handling procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment, forklifts, hand tools, and shipping systems safely and efficiently.
- Support operational efficiency by assisting with general warehouse and distribution activities as needed. Safety & Compliance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Handle products and materials carefully to minimize damage and ensure quality standards are maintained. Team Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding priorities, shipments, and operational needs.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse staff and other departments to support daily operations and customer service goals.
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist with changing operational priorities and workload demands. Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with shipping platforms such as UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, Starship, or similar systems preferred.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and warehouse procedures.
- Ability to operate hand tools, warehouse equipment, and computer systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable with strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LTL shipping and freight coordination.
- Background in material handling, purchasing, stock control, or warehouse inventory management.
- Experience using computerized inventory tracking systems or ERP systems.
- Familiarity with FIFO inventory rotation practices.

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a warehouse facility.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and move throughout a warehouse environment safely.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment and use shipping and inventory systems. Work Environment This position operates in a warehouse and distribution environment with regular movement throughout the facility.
