Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday + (working up to 12 hours per day and/or Saturdays when we get busy) 2nd
Shift:
1:45PM to 10:00
PM Job Summary:
The qualified candidate will work in the warehouse area of the production line to prepare finished product for shipment. This process will include operating a variety of equipment, including a forklift, in addition to completing paperwork for documentation purposes.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Operate equipment in a safe manner Drive and operate a forklift Identify and select the proper code Proper filling out and placement of pallet tags Follow case orders and place on the line for packing Check case codes of cookies Recheck count and remark at end of order Operate and troubleshoot tape machine Operate stretch wrap machine Operate dock lock for truck loading purposes Properly fill out trailer load sheet paperwork and waste tote data sheets Maintain proper levels of inventories for the line Provide coverage for warehouse position during breaks Follow AIB's "Good Quality Standards" and "GMPs" Additional duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Good verbal communication skills Good organization skills Willingness to except odd job assignments when production lines are not operating Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to lift 40 lbs. unassisted Ability to stand or walk up to 90% of the time scheduled Ability to organize and prioritize work schedule Must have the ability to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures
Job Qualifications:
18 years of age Experience operating forklift preferred, but not required Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position. It is the candidate's responsibility to ensure they are legally authorized to work in the location to which they apply.
Starting Pay:
Finished Good Loader I $20.30/hr. a shift differential is offered for 2nd Shift opportunities. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the 90th day of employment.
