Superior Canopy Corporation is a structural steel manufacturing company located in Hamilton, Indiana. We have a General Laborer/Floater position available, which will be for 1st shift (7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M.) The start/end times for this position are subject to change due to time change, seasonal needs, etc. This would be a full time, permanent position with overtime and (some) weekends required. We are looking for a team member who is punctual, self-motivated (working with little to no supervision), and able to manage their time efficiently to meet demanding timelines. Furthermore, for a floating position, we would expect the candidate to have a willingness to help & a positive attitude as they would be working with ALL departments as needed and would also greet vendors/guests as they arrive. Responsibilities & Duties Ability to read, understand & interpret blueprints and other verbal/written instructions to complete labor-intensive tasks Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to read & understand a tape measure Using a variety of tools and machinery, according to the appropriate methods and procedures, to produce finished product. Including routers and press brakes. Operate forklifts/overhead cranes/telehandlers to move raw materials. Maintain a clean and organized work area Operate and maintain machinery/equipment according to established guidelines Cross train in all areas of factory, as needed Ability to adapt to production needs and the willingness to work shifts including weekends, holidays, and overtime (as required) Organizing and packaging materials needed for jobs. Experience Factory experience is preferred but is not required.

Steel manufacturing:

1 year experience (preferred) Deck Shop (tandem brake press): 1 year experience (preferred)

CNC Operation:

1 year experience (preferred)
