Material Handler
- (Shift 1B) Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Material Handler to support our colorant operations.
This role is responsible for managing colorant inventory, maintaining accurate material locations, preparing barrel mixes, and ensuring work-in-process (WIP) and finished goods are properly identified and tracked. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and mix colorant barrels according to production requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe colorant work area. Maintain accurate material locations for colorant and foil inventory, completing Location Change Forms when required. Verify that all barrels and gaylords are properly labeled with accurate mix identification tags to support product disposition. Disposition Work-in-Process (WIP) and Finished Goods as products leave the press. Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred. Forklift experience or certification is preferred (or willingness to become certified). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer and inventory tracking skills. Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Shift Schedule
