Job Description

Order Preparation:
Pick and pack products for outgoing shipments according to order specifications, ensuring items are accurately selected and packed.
Loading and Unloading:
Safely load and unload trucks using manual labor or equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Labeling and Sorting:
Label boxes and items appropriately, sort packages by destination or type, and prepare shipping labels for proper delivery.
Inspecting Shipments:
Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, or discrepancies; report any issues to supervisors.
Inventory Management:
Assist with inventory counts and organization of products in the warehouse.
Equipment Operation:
Operate material handling equipment (such as forklifts, hand trucks, etc.) to move items efficiently and safely.
Work Area Maintenance:
Keep the shipping and receiving area clean and organized; follow safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free workspace.
Documentation:
Complete paperwork and records related to shipments, including tracking orders and ensuring proper documentation is filed.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members, supervisors, and departments to meet shipping goals and deadlines.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods; lift heavy objects (often 50+ pounds).
Basic Math and Reading Skills:
Ability to follow written instructions and complete simple math calculations related to shipping. Attention to

Ensure accuracy in packing, labeling, and inspecting shipments.
Safety Awareness:
Adhere to safety procedures and protocols in a warehouse environment.
Teamwork:
Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Experience:
Previous experience in shipping/receiving or general warehouse work preferred but not always required. Working in a freezer/refrigerator environment- we will provide PPE.
