We work directly with small Midwestern family farms to deliver a premium experience to e-commerce customers worldwide. We are a small, growing family business, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable seasonal team member to help us fulfill holiday orders in our clean, organized, and temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
The Role:
This person will report directly to the company President. This role focuses on the physical flow of our holiday orders—from helping with product packaging to accurately fulfilling our daily e-commerce and wholesale shipments using digital software. We're looking for someone who works well in a small group, is comfortable with multi-tasking and is very detailed oriented. What You'll Do (Job Responsibilities):
Order Fulfillment:
Accurately pick, pack, and ship online retail orders and custom gift sets using ShipStation software.
Product Packaging:
Assist with bagging popcorn kernels, labeling packaging, filling and wrapping gift boxes, and prepping wholesale orders for delivery according to schedule.
Handwritten Touch:
Write neat, clear, handwritten thank-you notes to include in each retail orders (nice handwriting is a major plus!).
Warehouse Excellence:
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant food-safe working environment; report any inventory discrepancies. Forklift Operation (A Plus, Not Required): If experienced, safely operate a forklift to receive, unload, store, and move warehouse products and palletized wholesale orders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Software & Platform Experience:
Prior experience utilizing ShipStation or similar e-commerce shipping software is strongly preferred. Experience fulfilling orders for a small business with online storefronts hosted on Shopify, Etsy, Amazon, and Walmart is a massive plus.
Manual Fulfillment Accuracy:
We operate a traditional, high-care fulfillment environment. We do not use barcode scanners. You must be highly comfortable executing 100% manual, visual pick-and-pack lists with flawless accuracy.
Physical Capabilities:
Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and working on your feet for the duration of a 4-hour shift. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly as part of standard packaging tasks is required.
Food Safety:
A current ServSafe or Food Handler's certificate is preferred.
Work Style:
Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and independently with your hands to meet tight daily shipping deadlines.
Communication & Tech:
Must be fully fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking) to accurately process invoices and ship packages. Comfortable using a PC and Microsoft Word.
