Warehouse Associate - Construction Materials Monday-Friday | Full-Time | Year-Round Work | Consistent Hours | Full Benefits FBi Buildings is looking for a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team in Remington, IN. This is a hands-on role working with lumber, steel, hardware, and other construction materials that are prepared and shipped to our building crews. Accuracy matters. Our crews depend on the warehouse team to make sure they receive the right materials, in the right quantities, at the right time. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, pays attention to the details, and can be counted on every day. Responsibilities include : Pull, organize, stage, and prepare construction materials for jobsites Load and unload lumber, steel, hardware, and other building materials Verify materials and quantities to ensure orders are complete and accurate Load, secure, and prepare shipments for delivery Receive and inspect incoming materials Properly tag, stock, and organize inventory Restock materials returned from jobsites and customers Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment Assist with inventory counts and identify low-stock materials Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse and yard Assist contractors and retail customers with material orders Operate yard trucks for material movement and occasional small deliveries Take ownership of assigned work and communicate when materials, quantities, or orders don't look right Ideal candidates will have: Strong attendance and dependability A willingness to work consistent full-time hours and daily overtime Strong attention to detail when pulling and counting materials Ability to work independently and stay productive A sense of ownership and accountability for completing work correctly Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and construction-material environment Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, and handle materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
