Job Description
Overview Join the McHolland Services team as part of our warehouse and logistics team! Duties Operate material handling equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, stock, and organize inventory efficiently. Conduct inventory management tasks using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software to track stock levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure accuracy. Shipping and receiving duties, such as preparing shipments and associated paperwork (Pick List, Packing List, BOL, Driver Manifests, etc.) Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, stocking shelves, and packaging products while following safety protocols as directed by warehouse supervisor. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and safety regulations; conduct routine safety checks on equipment like load/unload machinery. Support warehouse operations by coordinating with supervisors on stock replenishment, materials handling, and process improvements. Skills Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and material handling tools. Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, and inventory control. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely with heavy lifting and stocking responsibilities while following OSHA safety standards. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and order accuracy. Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring materials, and processing transactions. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors in a fast-paced environment.
