Join Feldkamp's Home Furnishings, Inc. as a Furniture Delivery Driver & Warehouse Team Member ! This is a hands-on role where you'll be the face of our company during deliveries while also supporting smooth day-to-day operations in the warehouse and on the showroom floor. What You'll Do:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs independently and assist in team lifts of 300-400 lbs (such as sleeper sofas, sectionals, and adjustable bases) using proper equipment. Deliver furniture safely and professionally to customers' homes and businesses. Load and unload furniture from delivery trucks and handle inventory with care. Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure excellent customer communication. Inspect outgoing furniture for damage and prepare items for delivery. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse. Perform regular warehouse duties, including receiving shipments, tracking inventory, organizing products, and restocking as needed. Help assemble furniture and prepare items for the showroom and deliveries. Assist with setting up and maintaining the showroom floor: arranging furniture, ensuring displays are clean and presentable, and removing sold items promptly. Keep aisles, exits, and customer paths on the sales floor free of clutter and stray product. Work closely with team members to improve efficiency, delivery schedules, and customer satisfaction. Represent Feldkamp's with a friendly attitude and professional appearance at all times.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience in warehouse or delivery work is a plus. Able to lift and move heavy furniture safely (team lifting encouraged). Good communication and customer service skills. Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented. Positive team player with a strong work ethic. Flexible availability, including weekends when needed. Why Work With Us?
