Overview First Shift Monday thru Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Overtime Opportunities Join our team as a Material Handler in our warehouse operation. In this role, you'll be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and delivery of materials to ensure smooth production flow. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, materials handling, and warehouse management will keep our supply chain running seamlessly. We are committed to providing a safe, engaging environment where your skills can shine and contribute to our collective success. Material Handlers are also tasked to Quality Check finished products. Quality Check includes using a tape measure, levels and hand tools to ensure products are built to spec, clean, consistent and meet company standards. Duties Safely operate heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and shipping areas. Load and unload shipments with attention to safety protocols, ensuring proper handling of heavy or fragile items. Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods for quality and accuracy, and recording transactions in the warehouse management system. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts, cranes, and other machinery. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by stacking pallets properly, securing loads, and adhering to OSHA safety standards. Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock rotation, cycle counts, and updating inventory records. Support warehouse supervision by following safety procedures, participating in safety audits, and promoting a culture of safety awareness among team members. Collaborate with team members during order picking and assembly processes to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy standards. Operate various types of heavy equipment including clamp trucks and forklifts for efficient load handling in compliance with safety regulations. Experience Proven experience in warehouse distribution or logistics environments with a strong understanding of materials handling operations. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment safely and effectively. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use. Prior experience with shipping & receiving procedures including load & unload activities. Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues quickly to minimize downtime. Warehouse supervisor experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in advancement opportunities.
