Job Summary Nolen Distribution is looking to expand our team and is hiring a Part time Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker, where you will play a vital role in ensuring timely delivery of products and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. You will be responsible for safely loading, unloading, and transporting products while delivering exceptional customer service. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks and vans, drivers to deliver products to various locations following designated routes. Load and unload shipments using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling of products. Verify delivery orders, inspect packages for damage, and obtain signatures upon delivery to confirm receipt. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and inventory movements throughout your shift. Assist with warehouse organization by moving stock, restocking inventory, and preparing product for routes. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure safety standards are met. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or route driving with a focus on customer service excellence. Strong warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, heavy lifting, moving supplies, and equipment operation. Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely; certification is a plus. Comfortable handling manual transmission vehicles and performing routine vehicle maintenance checks. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail when managing deliveries and inventory logs. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, walking, and moving throughout shifts.
