Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting various warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution, materials handling, and operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks. Prior warehouse management or supervisor experience is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes safety, efficiency, and accuracy. Duties Manage inventory control using warehouse management systems and RF scanners to ensure accurate stock levels Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks for loading, unloading, and moving materials Assist with order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately Support shipping & receiving processes by preparing shipments and verifying incoming deliveries Stock shelves and organize warehouse space to optimize workflow and safety compliance with OSHA standards Ensure proper packaging of products for shipment to prevent damage during transit Collaborate with warehouse management to improve operational procedures and safety protocols Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations, distribution, or manufacturing environments Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklift, reach truck, and pallet jack safely and efficiently Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehousing and heavy equipment operation Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and order accuracy Physical ability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks Experience with order picker devices, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems is highly desirable This position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations through efficient handling of materials, accurate inventory management, and safe equipment operation.
