Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and highly detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to join our team in Harahan, Louisiana . This role is primarily focused on warehouse operations, including inventory management, order processing, and maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. A secondary component of the role involves delivering parts and picking up materials from vendors. This position is well suited for someone who thrives in a structured, task-focused environment where accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail are essential. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations (Primary Focus) Process and prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging and shipping documentation Pull parts for service and outgoing orders with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock orders for damages and correct quantities Organize, label, and shelve stock items to maintain orderly inventory flow and storage systems Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory management activities Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment Break down boxes and prepare materials for recycling Rotate stock and reorganize shelving as inventory changes occur Assist with processing returns and coordinating with vendors when necessary Delivery & Driving (Secondary Focus•approximately 25-30%) Deliver parts or orders to customers and pick up will-call orders from vendors Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly while following all traffic laws and company policies Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns Assist with loading and unloading materials during deliveries Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency in basic computer applications , including Microsoft Office, email, and business systems Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail Ability to interpret shipping documentation, inventory records, and part numbering systems Effective communication and problem-solving skills Ability to remain focused and productive in a busy environment with frequent activity and interruptions Ability to follow established procedures and maintain consistent, systematic work processes Experience and Education High school diploma or GED equivalent required Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience (engine or similar industry experience preferred) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to safely operate company vans or flatbed trucks Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs frequently Ability to stand, bend, reach, and operate warehouse equipment for extended periods Comfortable driving in various weather and traffic conditions Ability to maintain the mental stamina and focus required for a busy warehouse environment Working Conditions Majority of work performed in a warehouse environment Approximately 25-30% of time spent making deliveries or vendor pickups Work involves frequent interaction, interruptions, and a steady flow of tasks Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM•4:00 PM Occasional schedule flexibility may be required depending on business needs Benefits We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support the health, well-being, and financial security of our employees, including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Company-paid life insurance and disability coverage Opportunities for training and career growth If you are someone who enjoys working with precision, maintaining organized systems, and ensuring every detail is handled correctly , we encourage you to apply and become an important part of our operations team.
