Material Handler

Material Handler Image Diagnostics Job Functions/Competencies

• Receiving and Inspection
• Check incoming shipments for accuracy against purchase orders, verifying quantity, product integrity and first article inspections
• Inventory Management
• Store materials in designated location within the warehouse, labeling and organizing items to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Order Picking and Packing
• Pull items from inventory based on customer orders, accurately picking, identifying and packing products for shipment.
• Loading and Unloading
• Operate material handling equipment lift forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks and material movement within warehouse.
• Inventory Control
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure stock accuracy.
• Data Entry
• Record inventory details, including receiving dates, location and quantities in inventory management systems /ERP System
• Quality Control
• Identify and report any nonconformances with purchased and manufactured products. First article inspection, daily testing for product integrity.

Physical Ability:

Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.

Forklift Operation:

Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification may be required).

Detail:

Accuracy in counting, labelling, and recording inventory data and testing data.

Organizational Skills:

Efficiently manage inventory and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Basic Computer Skills:

Proficiency with ERP systems and Office Suites.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
• Dependable with proficient organization skills and attention to detail while multi-tasking
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• All other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Education/Training:

Associate's degree or higher preferred 3 + years of customer service and/or sales experience preferred. 3 + years of Material Handling experience preferred 3 + years ERP preferred

Pay:

From $50,000.00 per year
