Onsite Overtime:
As required Savvy Staffing is seeking an experienced Raw Material Handler for a growing manufacturing company in Sturbridge, MA! This is a manufacturing-floor position, NOT a warehouse role. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, material handling experience, and the ability to operate and maintain material feeding and drying equipment in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, store, and release incoming raw materials Transport raw materials to production areas as needed Operate and program feeders, dryers, and loading systems Set up and adjust dryers, loaders, and concentrate feeders Assist with machine changeovers, including cleaning material feed systems and screws Replace raw material bins and maintain material handling equipment Assist with basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and material documentation Enter required data and complete paperwork accurately Follow company quality and safety procedures Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions Work closely with the Shift Manager and Production Manager Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of Material Handling or manufacturing experience preferred Forklift training/experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to lift at least 55 lbs. Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or
ISO 13485
preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to concentrate and follow detailed instructions English proficiency required
Pay:
$18.00
