Delivery Driver & Shipping/Receiving Associate Split-week role Warehouse + New England delivery routes Non-CDL Thermal Seal Insulating Glass is a flat-glass fabricator producing tempered glass and insulated units. We are hiring a reliable, safety-minded associate who can split the week between warehouse shipping/receiving and driving relief delivery routes across New England. The Role This is a hands-on combination position. Typical week is about three days inside shipping and receiving and a minimum of two days on the road covering overflow and relief routes so our full-time drivers stay on schedule. This position has the potential to convert into a full time driving position. What You Will Do Load, secure, and tie down insulated glass units and monolithic lites onto box trucks and stake-body trucks. Drive non-CDL delivery trucks on routes throughout New England, delivering to shops, warehouses, and job sites.
Work shipping and receiving:
check orders, stage product, receive inbound material, and keep the dock organized. Coordinate delivery timing and method with customers; represent the company professionally on every stop. Tie down or reposition units at customer locations when needed. Follow safe glass-handling practices, proper lifting technique, and company/DOT safety rules. Keep deliveries on time and communicate delays or issues promptly. What We Need Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to pass a DOT physical. Prior driving experience (box truck, stake truck, or similar commercial/delivery driving preferred). Comfort with heavy lifting and physical warehouse work all day. Reliable attendance, a professional manner with customers, and a safety-first attitude. Willingness to learn glass handling — we will train you on handling, tying, inspection and loading procedures. Ability to work a split week: typically 3 days in the warehouse and at least 2 days driving. Routes and days can vary with demand. Physical & Work Conditions Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of glass units and panels; work in factory and trucks in all weather. Standing, bending, and climbing on and off trucks throughout the shift. Warehouse and delivery environment Schedule & Compensation Start time 7AM/8AM Full-time. Days and route assignments will vary ..
