This position is for permanent and full-time employment. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive merchandise, materials, tools, equipment, and supplies from vendors and verify shipment accuracy by physically inspecting shipments to confirm quantities, materials, condition, and order details.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for missing, incorrect, damaged, or otherwise incorrect materials and promptly notify the Purchasing Department or Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Document, label, organize, and track all merchandise and materials entering and exiting the warehouse.
  • Scan labels, packing slips, delivery receipts, and other documentation into designated electronic folders and distribute documentation to Project Managers as required.
  • Pick, pull, stage, and prepare materials, equipment, tools, and stock for jobsites, deliveries, and field personnel.
  • Assist with restocking shelves, maintaining warehouse organization, and ensuring materials are properly stored and readily accessible.
  • Deliver goods, materials, tools, equipment, and supplies to various jobsites, company locations, vendors, and other designated destinations.
  • Safely load, transport, and unload materials, ensuring all goods are properly secured and protected during transportation.
  • Assist with coordinating efficient delivery routes and transportation schedules.
  • Load and unload goods from the warehouse and company vehicles using safe lifting and material-handling practices.
  • Assist with the organization, delivery, maintenance, and tracking of company tools and equipment utilizing KOJO and designated asset-tracking software.
  • Maintain accurate tool and equipment sign-in/sign-out records and communicate with field employees regarding company tools and equipment.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving processes for generator equipment, including receiving, inspecting, staging, loading, unloading, and coordinating deliveries.
  • Assist with daily warehouse and facility close-up procedures, including locking gates, securing doors, and ensuring company vehicles, tools, and equipment are properly stored and secured.
  • Conduct routine inspections of assigned company vehicles and promptly report mechanical issues, damage, safety concerns, or required service and maintenance to the supervisor.
  • Maintain assigned company vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with all applicable traffic laws, Company policies, and safety procedures.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties, including receiving, organizing, staging, distributing, and maintaining materials and equipment.
  • Perform snow removal, groundskeeping, and light building/property maintenance as required.
  • On-call availability for snow removal or emergency response, including early mornings, evenings or weekends as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse, loading areas, vehicles, and surrounding property.
  • Be available for occasional on-call snow removal or emergency response, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or other non-standard hours as business needs require.
  • Follow all Company safety policies and procedures, including proper material-handling and vehicle-operation practices. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
  • Start time varies between 5a-8a. Minimum of 8-hour shift.
  • This is a full-time hourly position.
  • Employee is expected to work an identified schedule every day.
Supervisor Responsibility This position has direct supervisor responsibilities: None Competencies High energy and passion for our mission is essential. Warehouse driving experience a must. Must be able to drive a rack truck and tow a trailer. Driver must possess a DOT medical card or be willing/able to obtain one. Ability to use MS Word and Outlook for emailing and scanning proper documentation. Qualifications and Education Requirements High school or GED required Minimum of 2 years of experience
Workplace Environment Environmental & Working Conditions:
This position works primarily in and out of our warehouse as well as on the road delivering goods and materials in company vehicles. Manual Duties/Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs ., stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, bend, reach overhead, kneel and balance to meet the physical requirements of this position. This is primarily a warehouse position that will utilize computer, telephone, and other office equipment as needed. Work is often done in a time-sensitive and demanding environment. There are often important deadlines and the requirement to coordinate work on multiple complex assignments at the same time.
