JOB SUMMARY

The Material Handler/Shipper will perform general stocking labor, including moving freight, stock, and other materials.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Transports freight, stock, and other materials by hand or by the use of trucks to and from various locations. Sorts cargo before loading or unloading. Loads and unloads cargo using appropriate tools. Uses bracing, padding, or strapping to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported. Checks & packs order as they come in. Transfer materials from receiving to back room and from upstairs to dock for truck pick up. Marks containers with identifying information or tags. Stacks cargo where directed using pallets or cargo boards. Restocking shelves, makes sure there are always boxes on hand and keeps the area clean. Uses daily production sheets or work tickets to record the number of units moved or managed. #CNX200
