ABICOR Binzel USA, Inc., a welding equipment manufacturer located in Frederick, MD, is recruiting experienced assemblers and/or material handlers to work in a fast-paced production and/or warehouse department. This is an exciting opportunity for hands-on work with a great team! Assembler ($19.50 and up) -

Essential Functions:

Perform production tasks per training in the following areas: Assembly of Bikox, cables/cable assemblies, swannecks, water coolers, air-cooled MIG guns, and basic brazing, basic machine shop operations. Read and interpret job order documentation and related assembly drawings, work instructions, and specifications. Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, machinery, and fixtures to produce finished products according to specifications. During and after assembly, inspect work for conformity to quality standards and job order documentation. Test assembled products to ensure functionality and performance. On job completion, complete and distribute job and test documentation according to company procedure. Follow all safety precautions when using tools, machinery, and chemicals. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Rotate within different production areas as needed to meet fluctuating demands. Report on issues, malfunctions, and defective parts. Work with other team members to increase efficiency and performance. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Material Handler ($18.00 and up) -

Essential Functions:

Follow instructions of the Warehouse Lead and/or Operations Manager. Adapt to any assigned task within the warehouse operations. Correctly pick, pack, sort, count, store, and process items for shipment or delivery according to instructions. Recognize and solve minor issues as they arise with minimal supervision. Maintain a neat and clean work area within the warehouse. Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude. Must remain flexible at all times to adapt to company changes based on fluctuating demands and needs. Must be team-oriented. Audit packing of customer orders.

Qualifications:

Basic arithmetic, counting, reading, and computer skills. Attention to detail. Dependable and reliable. Self-motivated and able to work productively with minimal supervision. Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance. Ability to travel stairs. Ability to read small numbers as various heights.

Pay:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
