Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Marina Dockhand to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist with dock and marina maintenance, and support various operational tasks to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for boaters and visitors. This role requires hands-on work, mechanical knowledge, and a strong commitment to cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities Greet and assist marina guests with check-in, questions, and general inquiries, ensuring a positive customer experience. Perform cleaning duties around the marina, including dock areas, pools, and common spaces to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. Conduct routine dock maintenance, including handling boat tie-ups, assisting with mooring, and ensuring docks are in good condition. Support with mechanical tasks related to marina equipment or small engines as needed. Assist with cutting tasks related to marina operations or maintenance projects. Support pool cleaning activities to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met. Perform general upkeep tasks such as minor repairs and ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout the marina. Requirements Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory. Basic mechanical knowledge or aptitude for working with mechanical systems is advantageous. Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently and thoroughly. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Reliable work ethic with attention to detail and safety procedures. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
