Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Material Handler to join our team on a temporary, 12-week basis . In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement and handling of flooring materials within the warehouse environment. Your primary focus will be moving rolled goods to the cutting machine, transferring completed rolls of carpet to the staging area for shipment, and returning rolled goods to designated stock locations as well as receiving and storing inbound freight in accordance with company policies and procedures. Schedule Sunday 7:00am-1:00pm Monday 7:30am-6:00pm

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday:

9:30am-6pm Responsibilities Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pole lifts, and dock stockers to move goods safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse. Stage completed roll good orders in designated shipping or staging bin locations without causing damage. Stage returned rolled goods that are not scheduled for shipping in the specified bin locations noted on the product's roll card, ensuring proper handling to prevent damages. Regularly move and transport incoming goods as part of the receiving process, supporting timely inventory updates and storage. On a rotational basis, operate the open end and wrap side of the cutting machine as required. Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting to support warehouse operations while maintaining safety protocols. Assist with general warehouse activities related to materials handling, organization, and inventory management. Requirements Proven experience operating forklift, pole lift, or similar material handling equipment is preferred but not required. Equipment certification/training will be provided on-site. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and effectively. Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes. Good organizational skills with attention to detail for staging and storing materials accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards. Flexibility to work on a rotational basis for equipment operation duties as needed.
