Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving Job Summary:

A national truck parts supplier in Byron Center is hiring multiple team members for its growing warehouse operation! We have a variety of openings in shipping and receiving , with different schedules and pay rates available. Both entry level and experienced positions are available. These are active, hands-on warehouse positions working with truck parts and other materials. Depending on the position, responsibilities may include receiving and inspecting incoming inventory, picking and packing orders, shipping products, operating pallet jacks or forklifts, inventory work, and entering information into computer systems. If you are dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable with physical work, and enjoy staying busy throughout your shift, we want to hear from you!

Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming inventory Pick and verify customer orders accurately Pack, wrap, and prepare products for shipment Load and unload trucks Move and organize materials throughout the warehouse Operate pallet jacks and potentially sit-down forklifts Perform inventory counts and assist with maintaining inventory accuracy Inspect products for damage, quantity, and accuracy Enter shipping, receiving, and inventory information into computer systems Work with FedEx, UPS, and shipping software Read purchase orders, invoices, packing slips, and other documentation Meet productivity and accuracy expectations Lift and move heavy truck parts and materials Assist in different areas of the warehouse as needed

Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving Qualifications:

We have opportunities for candidates with a variety of warehouse skill sets. Experience in any of the following areas is helpful: Shipping and receiving Warehouse or distribution Order picking and packing Sit-down forklift operation Pallet jack operation Inventory and cycle counting FedEx, UPS, or shipping software Computer-based inventory systems Quality inspection Candidates should also be: Able to regularly lift up to 70 lbs Comfortable working with heavy truck parts Detail-oriented and focused on accuracy Comfortable using computers and entering information from paperwork Able to work in a fast-paced environment and shift between responsibilities Dependable and able to meet productivity expectations Able to use a tape measure when required High school diploma/GED or related experience required Apply Now!
