Warehouse Assistant -
Coopersville, MI Company Overview:

Position Summary:
The new member of the Warehouse team will be a hands-on, physical worker. They will excel in a company that provides award-winning customer service through holding employees to a high level of performance and accountability. In this position you will assist in keeping the warehouse maintained and pulling appliances that are ready to be delivered and installed in customer homes. 40-hour work week, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday - Friday with a rotating Saturday. Starting at $22 an hour.
Responsibilities:
Inventory transfer and control Shipping and receiving product; using scan gun to transfer product; keep warehouse and work stations clean and organized Accurately using inventory management system and procedures Putting away product. Using a forklift, pallet jack or dolly to move product from staging area to racks awaiting delivery Safely multi-tasking in a dynamic environment Learn and follow company policies and procedures Inter-store transfers. Pulling supplies and product daily for our retail stores Pulling product for the next business days deliveries. Using forklift, pallet jack or dolly to retrieve product from racking and place it in the designated team's bay for delivery Recycling of packaging from deliveries
Qualifications:
Ability to operate a fork-lift Mechanical aptitude Ability to lift heavy objects Good driving record and current driver's license Attention to detail Excellent customer service skills
