The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of various manufacturing processes and the ability to operate machinery safely and effectively. Duties Operate and monitor production equipment, ensuring optimal performance throughout the manufacturing process. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments for assembly and fabrication tasks. Handle materials safely, including loading and unloading using forklifts or cranes as necessary. Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications and standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals while adhering to lean manufacturing principles. Skills Proficiency in operating forklifts and cranes for materials handling. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining, industrial painting, or construction painting. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and airless paint spraying methods. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material requirements. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices to enhance productivity and efficiency. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics within the production environment.
