Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and attentive Day Time Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service during daytime hours Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism, demonstrating knowledge of drink service and wine options Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety regulations Handle cash transactions accurately while processing payments and providing correct change Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations Skills Proven experience in food service roles, including fine dining or nightclub environments, with a strong focus on guest relations Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and sales processing Knowledge of beverage service, cocktail mixing, spirits, wine options, and drink presentation techniques Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy daytime hours Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing sales totals Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or bartender is a plus but not required Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences through energetic service and attention to detail.
