In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling, organizing, and managing packaged textiles within the warehouse environment. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth shipping and receiving processes, accurate inventory management, and safe operation of heavy equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and materials handling while contributing to a fast-paced, safety-focused team. Duties Safely load and unload shipments using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment in accordance with OSHA safety protocols. Operate RF scanners and manual tools to accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment or storage. Manage inventory by conducting regular audits, updating records, and ensuring proper storage of packages to prevent damage or loss. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by properly storing materials on pallets or shelves and adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow efficiency and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers; prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus. Demonstrated ability to operate pallets jacks and load/unload delivery vehicles safely. Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners for accurate order picking and stock control. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly while maintaining proper safety procedures. Knowledge of OSHA standards related to warehouse safety protocols and materials handling practices. Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills for teamwork and safety compliance.
