Amazon freight drop and hook with some live loads, easy job. We pay above the national average. Duties Safely operate a CDL A tractor-trailer's dry van across designated routes. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules while complying with DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met; report any mechanical issues promptly. Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driver roles. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for transporting dangerous goods.
